Klimt Villa Vienna
In 1911 Gustav Klimt rented a single-level cottage located in Vienna Hietzing and used it as his last studio before he died in February 1918. Until his death, some of his most important masterpieces were created here. In 1923 the new owners had the originally garden house built over to a neo-Baroque villa. As a result, the studio of Gustav Klimt the so-called "Klimt Villa" has been preserved.
