Imperial Crypt
Since 1633, 149 members of the House of Habsburg have found their final resting place in the Imperial Crypt beneath the Capuchin Church on Neuer Markt. It is the principal burying place for members of the former imperial house of Austria. The most recent entombment was that of the former crown prince and EU politician Otto Habsburg in 2011.
